Minsk Hub members attend Shape Eurasia 2016 in Kazan

shapeeurasia360Shape Eurasia 2016 in Kazan, Russia gathered about 100 youth leaders from 25 countries

28-30 August Kazan, Russia hosted Shape Eurasia 2016, featuring a number of important topics, including sustainable development in Eurasia, urban communities in digital era, future professions and innovations in big data analysis.

The Global Shapers Minsk Hub was represented by Andrei Yeliseyeu and Denis Kolga.

Youth leaders met the members the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Mr. President Rustam Minnikhanov. Other distinguished guests of the Kazan event included Yemi Babington-Ashaye, Head of the Global Shapers Community, and Anastasia Kalinina, Head of Eurasia at World Economic Forum.

Besides intensive workshops and discussion panels, Shape Eurasia 2016 participants visited Innopolis innovation center and played a friendly football match. Furthermore, international guests took part in a small ecological action by cleaning Glubokoye lake’s shoreline.
